Silica sand

Silica sand is a granular material composed primarily of silicon dioxide (SiO2) that is present in the form of quartz crystals. It is one of the most common types of sand in the world. Silica sand forms as a result of the erosion of rocks containing quartz.

Quartz sand

Quartz is a hard, crystalline mineral composed of silica (silicon dioxide). The atoms are linked in a continuous framework of SiO4 silicon–oxygen tetrahedra, with each oxygen being shared between two tetrahedra, giving an overall chemical formula of SiO2. Quartz is, therefore, classified structurally as a framework silicate mineral and compositionally as an oxide mineral. Quartz is the second most abundant mineral in Earth's continental crust, behind feldspar

Chromite sand

Chromite is a crystalline mineral composed primarily of iron oxide and chromium oxide compounds. It can be represented by the chemical formula of FeCr2O4. It is an oxide mineral belonging to the spinel group.

Ceramic

Ceramic Foundry Sand, technically named as “Fused Ceramic Sand for Foundry”, also named as ceramsite, is good spherical grain shape which is made from calcined bauxite. Its main content is aluminum oxide, and it is processed by melting, blowing, sieving and blending. Ceramic sand, has much better properties than that of silica sand to gain a better performance in foundry. It has high refractoriness, stable inert characteristics, excellent flowability, intrinsic hardness and wear resistance.

Cerabeads

It is made by firing spherical granules, not by crushing. As CERABEADS artificial sand is about half as light as zircon and chromite, it can turn out about twice the number of molds per unit weight. It can also be handled very easily, saving labor and transfer power costs.

AR Sand

AR Sand is very spherical and the surface is very even so that AR SAND provides high sand filling efficiency and mold strength. It is also able to decrease using caking agent and show better recycle property and environment friendly due to not containing free silicic acid.
